Private Ski Lessons
A big question people often have when looking at booking ski school for their winter break is whether to go for Private Ski Lessons for their lesson requirements.
In this blog we will look at the positives, the negatives and most importantly, how to get the most out of your private lesson experiences.
Private lessons are often thought as an expensive luxury and as such people are sometimes reluctant to go for this option over group lessons. The reality though is that private lessons can quite often turn out to be more economical and better value for money than group lessons.
One of the biggest misconceptions about private lessons is that they are always 1 on 1, one student and the teacher. Ski Zenit offer private lessons for up to 5 people. We have a price for one person, and then a price for 2 to 5 people. By having this flexible pricing structure, people are not getting penalised financially for wanting the 1 on 1 experience or groups of friends/families can split the cost.
If you have a group of people, of a similar ability, of 2 to 5 people then a private lesson is an awesome way to fine tune your technique or blast away the cobwebs of not skiing since last winter! Depending on the number of similar level people in your party, booking private lessons can often work out cheaper than group lessons as well. It is a fantastic option for groups of friends, families and even people you have just met on holiday.

Private lessons are the best way to ensure you get the maximum flexibility and personalisation that you deserve from ski school. By having your own private instructor/coach, you can arrange for the most convenient meeting place and time. You can focus on a particular technical goal or terrain based achievement. Unlike group lessons, you do not have to commit to a full week of lessons thereby giving you more options for other activities during your holiday.
To get the most out of your private lesson experience, there are a few simple things to bear in mind. Ensure everyone is either at a similar technical level, or able to ski on the same slopes (it is possible for a good coach to be able to ensure all students are suitably challenged). Try to have a goal in mind of what you want to achieve during the lessons, obviously your instructor can help with this, but if you have an idea beforehand it can speed things along nicely. Check Trip Advisor and similar online forums for recommendations of great teachers.
Private lesson availability can be limited, particularly during high season, so we recommend booking your instructors early!

Christmas Group Ski Lessons
Christmas Group Ski Lessons. New to Ski Zenit for the 2018/19 winter in Saas Fee are childrens/teenagers.
Utilising the best coaches and instructors in resort, we will make it the most awesome Christmas ever for your young ones here in the picturesque, winter wonderland that is Saas Fee.
Saas Fee could not be any more of a perfect place to spend Christmas. With an enviable snow record throughout the season, there really is nowhere else in the Alps that can guarantee such phenomenal early season conditions! Christmas ski holidays have become a bit of a gamble with regards to snow conditions in the last few years, but that is certainly not the case here in Saas Fee. With predominantly Northerly facing slopes and a high altitude, Saas Fee always enjoys fantastic early season conditions. With 1800m vertical drop skiable from the beginning of December, there is never any risk of poor snow conditions over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
Group lessons are a fantastic way to really progress, develop and enjoy ski tuition at an affordable price. Being in a group environment with like minded and similar ability people is one of the best ways to get the most out of your time on the epic early season Saas Fee snow. Its a tremendously social experience, where your children will make lifelong friends and potential future ski holiday buddies! Our ski Zenit coaches create a great, relaxed environment within which your children will perfect and hone their existing skills and even learn a few new ones.

With a maximum of 7 children per group, you are assured that your kids will receive the individual and focussed attention and feedback that they deserve. With safety being our number one priority, you can relax safe in the knowledge that your children will be having an amazing time in a safe, controlled environment.
Children learn differently and react differently to stimuli as they grow older, therefore Ski Zenit do not adopt a one size fits all approach in their teaching and coaching strategies. We separate our childrens groups into two age categories, younger ones and teenagers and also on their ability levels. Every Ski Zenit coach has years of experience in working with all age groups, and are amply equipped to deal with and entertain even the most stroppy of teenagers or younger ones being away from Mum and Dad for the first time!
Our Christmas Group Lessons cater for any level of skier, from complete beginner, through to off piste powder hunter, to freestyle park aficionado, to mileage hungry piste slayers and everything in between!
There is no better place or way to make sure your Christmas ski holidays with the kids goes with a bang, than by enrolling them into our group lessons.
