Bespoke Snowsports was established in Saas-Fee in 2010. Drawn to the consistent snow conditions and the vast, varied alpine terrain, we made our home in this authentic car-free town in the heart of the Alps. More than 15 years later, we still teach guests from all over the world here every winter.

We are a small international team of dedicated professionals with years of expertise. Our personalised approach goes above and beyond the usual ski school product, creating lasting relationships with our guests.

Absolutely! From beginners taking their first steps on the snow to seasoned experts seeking new challenges, we create tailor-made lessons that make sure everyone progresses and enjoys their time on the mountain. We teach children on skis from the age of 3, teenagers, adults and seniors, and we offer snowboard lessons too. Want to explore untouched lines, or spend a session working intensively on your technique? We shape every lesson around your current level and your goals, so you leave more confident and more skilled than when you arrived.

Bespoke Snowsports lessons are fully customised and taught by a highly skilled team of international professionals dedicated to giving the best instruction possible. We welcome skiers of all ages, and everyone finds their place: from first-timers to seasoned experts refining their technique, every lesson is built around individual needs and goals.

Our lessons are active and fun, and they take place in a safe and supportive environment. We believe that small, manageable challenges are the key to learning and to building a solid technical foundation. That is why we use progressive, adaptable teaching methods that help skiers of every age enjoy the snow and develop their skills, with a different approach for children, teenagers and adults.

We create a wide variety of learning situations to keep our guests motivated throughout the day, with one long-term goal: a lifelong relationship with skiing. Engaging, dynamic sessions and, for bookings of three sessions or more, a personalised video edit help you see your progress and keep the passion going long after your holiday.

I had two amazing sessions with Patrick—he first diagnosed what needed to be improved, then prioritized it so we could focus on the most important parts first. After two sessions, it already helped me, and I now know exactly what I need to fix technically and how to actually do it.

Patrick is very punctual, easygoing, and has a great sense of humor. He’s also very patient and repeats things again and again until you get it. Highly recommended.

As for the school itself, the whole process was fast and smooth. I knew exactly where to meet and when. I know it may sound silly, but I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with other schools in the past.

Communication around the scheduling and rescheduling was very easy and convenient, the team is approachable and responsive. That was just the start, we then got to meet the teacher, Patrick. Simply fantastic, Patrick is able to communicate with children, putting him at their level, gain their trust and truly encourage them to move forward. Most frequent questions & answers
FAQ

Saas-Fee is a high-altitude resort and most of its slopes face north, so temperatures can be quite low, especially in January. The upside is some of the most reliable snow in the Alps. As in every mountain resort the weather is hard to predict, but March and April tend to be the sunniest months.

Private lessons can be booked in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and more, subject to availability. Let us know your preferred language when you book.

In the mountains the weather can change quickly, so we recommend wearing several layers that you can add or remove during the day. You will need a waterproof jacket and trousers, a helmet or hat, gloves and eye protection such as goggles or sunglasses. On snowy or foggy days a low-light lens (yellow or pink) is best. Children under 16 must wear a helmet in our lessons. Helmets are not compulsory for adults, but we highly recommend them.

Saas-Fee has plenty of mountain restaurants, from self-service to full-service gourmet dining, and several restaurants at the base of the beginner slopes with large terraces overlooking the snow. For full details, check the link below. We are happy to book a table on your behalf: just let the office or your instructor know at least one day in advance.

There are several ski rental shops in Saas-Fee. We recommend Cesar Sports, who offer a 10% discount on equipment rental to all Bespoke Snowsports clients.

We teach children from 3 years old in private ski lessons. Private snowboard lessons for beginners start from 7 years old. If your child is younger than 7 but can already snowboard and has equipment small enough, we can also give them lessons.

If you have booked private lessons, your instructor can meet you at several places in the resort: the Plattjen / Spielboden gondola station, the Alpin Express gondola station, or the Kalbermatten beginner slopes (lift ticket office). Intermediate and advanced skiers can also meet their instructor on the slopes at the Morenia restaurant. Please confirm your meeting point with the office when you book.

All visitors to Saas-Fee who pay the tourist tax at their hotel or apartment receive a SaastalCard. It gives you discounted lift passes, free local buses and offers on other activities and products in the valley.
